The GAP47 (club of amateur astronomers) offers every Friday night at 9.15pm (with reservations as long as the health precautions inherent to Covid-19 last), at the Astronomical Observatory of Fumélois celestial journey to the naked eye and the discovery of the constellations (with laser guidance), observation instruments (including two telescopes of 500 and 300 mm diameter under domes), a presentation of heaven and its mechanical (digital planetarium). Exceptional entertainment at significant astronomical events and during the nights of Astronomy in summer. Visits and possible activities during the day and / or evening on other days of the week by reservation (solar observation, hiking solar system planetarium). For groups (minimum 10 people: families, associations, recreation centers, schools). It's possible do have an English presentation.
Open all year, Friday evenings
- at 9 p.m. without reservation, from September to the end of June.
- at 8:30 p.m. by reservation in July and August.
Opening possible (morning and/or afternoon and/or evening) for private groups (minimum 10 people, at a rate of €75) by reservation.
Opening possible (morning and/or afternoon and/or evening) for school groups/leisure centers by reservation and quote.
Sessions in English possible (by reservation).
Free and free access to our 1/3 billionth scale model of the solar system (13 illustrated panels) via a 2.5 km walk along the GR652 which leaves from the observatory.
Friday night prices:
- adult (from 18 years old): 5 euros
- teenager (12 to 17 years old): 3 euros
- child (under 12): free
