Francis is a child of Tournon-d’Agenais. He will tell you both History with a capital H and the many anecdotes that will make you discover the life of a typical fortified town of the southwest.
With his beret screwed on his head and his broad smile, he will tell you the history of its main buildings such as the Abescat, the former residence of the bishops of Agen, the central well on the square, the only source of drinking water until the middle of the 20th century, the water tower bell tower, an imposing construction visible from afar. He will show you the moon dial on the facade of the belfry, an emblematic building and will detail how the mechanism works. He will show you the public garden with its memory center and you will be able to admire the splendid view of the Boudouyssou valley.
