From the Penne d?Agenais train station, this route takes you through the five villages and bastides listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages in France" in Lot-et-Garonne: Penne d?Agenais, Tournon d?Agenais, Villeréal, Monflanquin and Pujols. Bonus: a visit to the castles of Bonaguil and Gavaudun.
The route takes you along steep, bucolic roads with surprising panoramas. The rugged profile reflects the different landscapes you pass through: the Pays de Serres with its Quercy influences, the Val Lémance, the Collines de Guyenne, and finally the Lot Valley. A great challenge to (re)discover this unique heritage.
