Saint-Georges is surrounded by many hills or pechs, sometimes elongated, sometimes rounded or pointed. You can see Fumel, Mosempron-Libos, Monségur, Rouet, Trentels, Cazideroque, Padès, l'Estelle or Perricard, find them in the landscape!
Around the 14th century, two mills were built on the stream of Bellague before its confluence with the Lot. They show a typical example of the economic activities carried out in Lot-et-Garonne at that time. Many villages such as Saint-Georges were equipped with mills or forges to exploit the natural resources offered by the valley. The economy of this small village is nowadays turned towards the culture of the prune d'ente and tourism.
